 Please note: The "Average Hours Required" and "Total Cost" estimates provided are not based on the FAA's minimum hours needed to complete these ratings. Instead, they reflect the average hours typically required. While some individuals may finish training in the minimum time, most need slightly more to fully develop the skills necessary to pass the FAA flight tests.
